Scott McMillen has over 24 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in California. Mr. McMillen is a Petroleum Engineer with a BS Degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Mr. McMillen joined Kern River Holdings as a consultant in February of 2011 and was hired as Production Manager in July of 2012. He is currently serving as Vice President of Operations with responsibilities that include engineering, design, procurement, construction and lease management. Prior to that Mr. McMillen was a principal at Bakersfield Energy Resources, and as the Production Manager, provided the engineering expertise to design, develop and manage various oil and gas properties throughout California.
Steven Fisher now has over 32 years of experience in the oil and gas industry holding various engineering positions in operations, drilling, facilities, reservoir, and management. Mr. Fisher is a California Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer with a BS Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Bakersfield. Mr. Fisher was one of the principal owners of Bakersfield Energy Resources, a privately-held oil and gas producer, from March, 1990 until its sale to Seneca Resources in June, 1998. He was also a principal owner of AS Testing and Tools, a privately-held service company, from June, 1998 until its sale to Key Energy in August, 2001. During the last seven years, Mr. Fisher has been employed by All American Oil and Gas and Kern River Holdings, and presently serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for Kern River Holdings.
Joyce Hatcher has 10 years of experience in diverse administrative roles including technology management, human resources and accounting support. Her role also includes project management. She comes from a military family and earned her BSc in Management and then an MBA. Outside of work, she is active in her community, working with at-risk youth and singing with Sabbath, a gospel music group.
J. Don Collier has over 26 years of financial and management experience in oil and gas, and energy transportation. He has a MBA in Finance and Accounting and extensive experience in oil & gas and transportation accounting. He joined All American Oil & Gas in June 2012 as the Financial Accounting Manager and was promoted to Controller the following year. He has had experience with a reverse merger of a publicly traded energy company, IT system implementations, and consulting for small start-up companies. He has taught accounting and other business courses in adjunct capacity. In addition to being company’s Controller the AAOG Group, he also serves as the Assistant Treasurer.
Doyle Hibler has over 41 years of experience in power generation and distribution, holding various management positions in operations, maintenance, and project development. Mr. Hibler joined Western Power & Steam, at the time of the acquisition of the DAI Oildale cogeneration facility in 2011. In 2015, Mr. Hibler was promoted from Vice President and Plant Manager to President. Prior to becoming Plant Manager of the DAI Oildale facility in 2009. Mr. Hibler was with the AES Corporation for thirty years where he served in various capacities, across eight states and two foreign countries, including Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Engineer, Project Development Specialist, Plant Manager, General Manager, Vice President, and President. Mr. Hibler has had direct involvement in the successful development, construction, and operation of electricity generating facilities ranging in size from 30 MW cogen plants to 750 MW coal fired generation stations.
Gregory Miles has over 36 years of business experience and has been involved in the oil and gas industry for over 25 years, with both executive management and oil and gas reservoir management responsibilities. Mr. Miles joined Kern River Holdings, in July of 2012 as the Director of Engineering after having worked for All American Oil & Gas as a consultant since April of 2010. He was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Engineering and then to President in 2015. From 2008-2010, Mr. Miles served as the Chief Executive Officer of Worldcast, a start-up company with technology for the advanced delivery of television over the Internet. Prior to that, Mr. Miles was a principal at Bakersfield Energy Resources, Inc., and, as the Engineering Manager, provided the engineering expertise to evaluate, acquire and develop numerous oil and gas projects. Mr. Miles has had direct involvement in the successful valuation, acquisition and development of six significant oil and gas projects. In addition, early in his career, Mr. Miles designed and oversaw the installation of three major oil and gas handling facilities. Mr. Miles received BS his degree in Mechanical Engineering, with honors, from California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo in 1980.
Robert G. Morris has over 45 years of experience in the investment and financial services industry. Mr. Morris also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at HAGIN Investment Management. He previously served as the Chief Investment Officer of Lord, Abbett & Co. Before his seventeen year tenure at Lord, Abbett & Co., he was employed by the Hartford Insurance Group, Niagara Share Corporation, Industrial National Bank of Rhode Island, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith, Drexel Burnham Lambert, and Chase Manhattan Bank Trust Department. He has a BA in Economics from SUNY at Buffalo and a MA of Economics from Northeastern University. He is a member of the NY Society of Security Analysts, Inc. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Elmira College.
